Instructions on how to make bookmarks

Dear Reader,

Are interested to make your own bookmarks for your self or for your friend or even to sell?

I have a passion for photography as well as making bookmarks. Some of my friends have also kindly allowed me to use their pictures to make some bookmarks.

It is my joy and privilege to share hobby with you.

You can download many Free Printable Templates for Homemade Bookmarks which I have created.

There are usually 8 bookmarks in one template.

You can personalised these bookmarks by putting words and names on them.

Feel free to use my designs or change them accordingly to suit your preference.

Here are some simple tips and instructions to share with you on how I normally make my bookmarks.

1. I used Microsoft Word to design the bookmarks.

First, I create a table with some columns. Then I paste the picture I want into it and change the size accordingly. I also put in the verses or wordings I want.

You may want to just download these template that I have made using a pink rose picture:

2) Use a color printer to print. I am using an ink jet printer ie. HP Deskjet 3920. The color printing is very nice.

3) Cut out the bookmarks and laminate it. The bookmarks will be more lasting if you laminate them.

4) Punch a hole on top. I use a single-hole puncher. This puncher is very handy for handicraft purposes.

5) Then use ribbons to tie. I bought the following ribbons which came in many colors:
























6) The bookmarks are completed :-)
